Pop along to MotorExpo in London this week and grab a drive in a Brabus Tesla Roadster
And if you don’t mind a bit of a queue you’re in with a chance of doing what Boris Johnson did earlier this year – test drive the Tesla Roadster. Not only that, but you’ll go one better and get a go in the Brabus version. Tesla have turned up at the MotorExpo on a bit of a roll.
We got a brief ride in a prototype of the Tesla Model S all-electric sedan, and as far as we could tell from the passenger seat, it seemed like a luxury performance bargain for just $57,400. Of course, being just a passenger means any evaluation is more or less just a guess. We should get to drive one of them sometime before the fully finished models go on sale next summer and then we will have a more definitive take on the car.
SsangYong has extended the appeal of their budget SUV Korando by launching the Korando Sports, a cross between a family car and a pick-up. Now SsangYong are pitching in to the Bob the Builder market with their take on vehicles like the Mitsubishi L200 (which has just been given a five year warranty by Mitsubishi) with the SsangYong Korando Sports. The Korando Sports is a double cab pickup with four doors and five seats that SsangYong says offers a working vehicle with 4WD, 2.3 tonne towing capacity and all the appointments of a family car.
